Diana Dors - nascida Diana Mary Fluck, a 23 de Outubro de 1931, e falecida a 4 de Maio de 1984 - foi uma actriz inglesa. Foi apresentada, pela primeira vez ao público, como uma bomba loira ao estilo de Marilyn Monroe. Assim foi promovida pelo seu primeiro marido, Dennis Hamilton, principalmente através de filmes de natureza sexual e comédias. Quando se verificou que Hamilton a tinha defraudado para seu próprio benefício, Diana não tinha outra escolha a não ser cumprir a sua imagem estabelecida. Foram muitas as manchetes de tablóides sobre as "festas de adultos" que, aparentemente, aconteceram em sua casa. Mais tarde, Diana mostrou um talento genuíno para TV e cabaré, ganhando nova popularidade como convidada regular em programas televisivos.
Dors alegou ter deixado uma grande fortuna para o seu filho no seu testamento, através de um código secreto na posse do seu terceiro marido Alan Lake. Mas depois do suicídio de Lake, esse código nunca foi encontrado, e o paradeiro da fortuna permanece um mistério.
Começo de Vida
Diana Mary Fluck nasceu em Swindon, Wiltshire, a 23 de Outubro de 1931, no Haven Nursing Home. A sua mãe, Winifred Maud Mary (Payne) era casada com Albert Edward Sidney Fluck. Mary estava tendo um caso com outro homem, pelo que, quando anunciou que estava grávida de Diana, acabando por admitir que não tinha uma idéia clara de quem pudesse ser o pai de Diana.
Diana foi educada em Colville House. Gostava muito de cinema; As suas heroínas, a partir dos 8 anos de idade, foram as actrizes de Hollywood Veronica Lake, Lana Turner e Jean Harlow.
Dors morreu a 4 de Maio de 1984, com 52 anos, na sequência de um cancro de ovário, diagnosticado pela primeira vez dois anos antes. Quando se converteu ao catolicismo no início de 1973, realizou-se um funeral na Igreja do Sagrado Coração, em Sunningdale, a 11 de Maio de 1984, conduzido pelo padre Theodore Fontanari. Foi enterrada no Sunningdale Catholic Cemetery
