Carreira
Alec Baldwin foi nomeado ao Óscar de Melhor Actor Secundário pelo seu trabalho no filme "The Cooler" ("Má Sorte"), em 2003, e três vezes vencedor do Golden Globe Award para Melhor Actor (série cómica ou musical) em televisão pelo seu trabalho em 30 Rock (Prémios Globo de Ouro 2007, 2009 e 2010). Além disso, é vencedor de oito Screen Actors Guild Awards, dos quais sete foram na categoria Melhor Performance de um Actor numa Série de Comédia em anos consecutivos, por causa do seu trabalho em "30 Rock". Além disso, é o actor com o maior número de nomeações ao prémio: 20.
Vida pessoal
Alec é o mais velho dos irmãos Baldwin. Foi casado com Kim Basinger, entre 1993 e 2002 com quem teve uma filha, Ireland Baldwin. Em 2010, foi apresentador da 82.ª edição do Óscar, ao lado do actor Steve Martin. É vegetariano, activista em defesa dos direitos dos animais e colabora para ONGs como a PETA.
Em 2011 foi expulso de um avião por se recusar a desligar um telemóvel.
No dia 30 de Junho de 2012, casou com a instrutora de ioga, Hilaria Thomas. Em Janeiro de 2013, foi anunciado que Hilaria está grávida. No dia 23 de Agosto de 2013, Hilaria teve Carmen Gabriela, a segunda filha do actor. Em 2015, o casal anunciou a chegada do seu segundo filho, Rafael Thomas Baldwin (terceiro filho do actor).
