Thomas Leo McCarey - nascido em Los Angeles (Califórnia), a 31 de Outubro de 1898, e falecido em Santa Mónica (Califórnia), a 5 de Julho de 1969 - foi um realizador de cinema norte-americano.
Licenciado em direito, exerceu advocacia na sua juventude. No entanto, a falência do escritório em que trabalhava, fez com que se aproximasse do mundo do cinema. Pelo filme "Going My Way" foi premiado com o Óscar de Melhor Argumento Original e de melhor realizador.
