Arthur Christopher Orme Plummer - nascido em Toronto, a 13 de Dezembro de 1929 - mais conhecido como Christopher Plummer é um actor canadiano. Actua tanto na televisão como no cinema e no teatro. Em 2012, aos 82 anos, ganhou o seu primeiro Óscar, pelo seu papel no filme "Assim é o amor" ("The Beginners"), tornando-se, assim, o actor mais velho a receber o prémio. No entanto, foi com o seu desempenho no filme "Música no Coração" ("The Sound of Music"), que ocupa um lugar destacado na história do cinema e no coração e memória dos cinéfilos.
É pai da actriz Amanda Plummer.
